Bear Hunts consist of hunting over baited stands and from ground or tree stands. We accommodate bow, rifle or muzzle-loader hunters. Spring Bear Hunting is done during late afternoon and evenings. Bear is skinned at no extra charge. Meat can be frozen. (over bait) May, June, September, October Rifle, Bow, Muzzle Loader - Special Season (Bow Only): September Stands for Rifle and Bow hunters: Note: Rifles should use minimum 130 gr. bullet. Active baits for all hunters. Field dressed Black Bears average from 90 to 425 Lbs. White-tail Deer Hunting is carried out by walking from camp or driving short distances on lumber roads. We have access to 1600-2000 sq. miles of wooded area. Beech ridges and hardwood stands abound. All valleys and mountainsides are softwood. Hunting is done by stand, still hunting and walking. Guide prepares tea and lunch on open fire at noon. ![]()
